Year 2011 is the starting of China’s Twelfth Five Years Plan. The new plans and policies will profoundly impact on the long-turn development of China’s energy industry. Facing the challenges and opportunities, how to accelerate the process of energy transfer and how to adjust energy structure are the most valuable subjects for our studying and reflecting upon. Especially, the happening of Fukushima nuclear disaster in early 2010 shocked the whole world, and it led to a new round of the worldwide discussion on the safety and future developing trends of the nuclear power industry.
The theme of “China International Energy Forum 2011” (CIEF 2011) is Energy Structure Adjustment and Strategic Choice. Elites from various energy sectors are sincerely invited to attend the forum to exchange and discuss on the focus and hot issues, thereby trying to find out some feasible and beneficial energy solution.
